We offer support to our students through students’ management program. Our career advisors can assist with Career Planning & Development, Career Re-direction, CV writing and personalised career advice to students on their specific career concern.
Students are able to draw upon the resources of career advisor through constructive discussion to arrive at beneficial outcomes that will assist the students in their career planning.
The objective ofthe student management program is to

• Aim at getting productive job experience and opportunities to students and involving themin career/job fair and exhibitions
• Provide stress free, contract free, obligation free, casual paid jobs for ten hours or less.
• Make jobs available in different fields

Eligibility:

• Valid Student Card from ASBT - currently enrolled and studying
• Valid work permit

ASBT also provides specific courses for career management

CAREER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

All students who enrolled for a 2 year Advanced Diploma program are eligible to apply for student's career management program. This program introduced in January 2005 is a unique program that provides opportunity for the students to develop their personality, assess their own skills & prepare themselves for the interview.

Management Recruitment Program

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

This program results in developing a student through a series of personality and career development programs.
Program involves:

1. Personality development
2. Career development
3. Resume Writing & presentation
4. Applicant interview skills
5. Mock Interviews

Total Duration: 15 hours DURATION: (3 hours per day) 5 days
Fee: $300

MANAGEMENT RECRUITMENT PROGRAM

PROGRAM OUTCOME:

ASBT's Management recruitment program as a part of student's career management program will assist students in getting job interviews with ASBT's existing clientele. These interviews could be campus interviews or interviews in the client's place based on the results from the professional development program & career assessment centre.
Students performing up to the required standards only will be selected for an opportunity for Interview. Students can take the Professional development program & the career assessment centre separately without Management recruitment program but students requiring job assistance must complete the former 2 programs as a part of preparation session for the interviews in the management recruitment program.
Program involves:

1. Briefing about the vacant positions & client
2. Final checklist for the interview
3. Interviews*

ASBT will assist students to provide a maximum of 3 job interviews failing which the students will be charged only for the administration cost and refunded the balance amount. Students getting selected for a job will purely depend on their talents and skills exhibited during the interview and every student should take sole responsibility of their performance in the interviews.
